You'll need an HTML file to displaying a link for the PDF file, e.g. Click HERE to read the PDF file / version. (The HERE linked to www.yoursite.co.uk/pdffilename.pdf) and then this will load either in the browser using a PDF viewer, or the user will be asked to download.

sorry being a bit thick, but 123reg is not the most simple website builder to use :-(2007 £1749

I don't use the website builder, so I've no idea about that. However I can help you with traditional methods, but you'd need to design your HTML files first (using a web design piece software e.g. Dreamweaver, or at a worse case Word!), then upload these files to your 123-reg account
You need an FTP client to do this, such as SmartFTP, which connects to the folder structure of your website and can upload files, all your account details will have been provided by 123. The FTP address will be something like: hosting.123-reg.co.uk and then you'll have a username and password to go with this, enter these in your FTP client and click connect, then you'll be able to upload files.0
