Crazy Mac's in Fforestfach, Swansea have just had a load of ex-WHSmith stock in.

Had meself a few bargains on Sunday for Xmas

e.g. Angelina Ballerina 2006 Calendar for daughter was 7.99 down to 2.99
Big floor size Balamory Jigsaw down to 2.99
Pink vanity case down from 12.99 to 1.99

They keep bringing more and more stuff out daily, i will be nipping in once a day to see what new stock is out.

Hope someone gets themselves a bargain

Mellyp I know that there is little to do in swansea but is popping into CrazyMac's daily really the answer?

well after seeing this post i went there today after uni.

and given the unbelievable amount of tat they were attempting to sell, its no wonder they're having to close down!

Agreed, they do have a LOT of junk there.

But i have had some real bargains there in the past. Some days i have gone in there and come out with nothing.

You sort of have to be there at the right time when they bring some good stock out.

That junky stuff is always there and i always walk past it too.

In the past i have had my daughters single bed for next to nothing, a bike worth about £50 for £20, loads of designer clothing, electrical stuff etc etc.

When they do have good stuff in, it goes really quickly.

Just to let you know, they have just re-opened in Llansamlet again behind PCW, and have got rid of most of the junk and have genuine bagains. They have Ip Nanos 2GB at less than £80 for example. It's worth a butchers

Yes, i am aware they have reopened, although i haven't been there yet. Mum was there at the weekend and apparently they have a load of whsmith xmas stuff, cards, wrap etc.

She did get me a Freeview box from there too £20, which works perfectly on an indoor aerial in the spare room. Bargain!!

They also had recently some Dora Explorer backpacks, lap trays etc which were going for quite a few quid on ebay, i meant to go and get some but never got round to it.

I love crazy mac and his crazy prices - hee hee
