Totally ridiculous letter from Capital One Cashback

Have to tell you this one. I got a letter from Cap1 today headed
"Important information about cashback on your Capital One Account".
I thought, here we go, they're going to stop it. No so. Read on " After your card was reported lost or stolen in 2006, we blocked your account and set up a new one. However, do to a systems issue we did not apply the correct amount of casback to some of the transactions to your new account. To rectify this error, we will apply this cashback as a credit of (wait for it) £0.02 to your account. You will see this on your next statement" How crazy is this? It must have cost them a few quid to process the letter,a and I wouldn't have noticed anyway. What a waste of money!

Yep, that made me smile.
A few years ago, after rounding down a column of figures for the taxman,we paid the tax due, and received a demand a couple of weeks later for 1 penny
The fact that the stamp on it was 24p.ish, was academic.

They are either obligated to inform you this way, or someone didn't plan too far ahead and made a 'minimum amount' a requirement for sending the letters out.
I'll take a punt on the latter.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
