student to graduate account overdraft

hello all,
I have recently graduated (6weeks ago) and my bank Abbey has me on their system as graduaing over a year ago. This resulted in them taking £900 from my account in order to decrease my overdraft. this has left me with no money. They will not rectify my mistake instead they insist I must Appeal their mistake (a confusing notiom!!).
Has anyone else come across this problem and if so what steps did you take to ensure you got your money back as it has been 5 days and i have been left with nothing!
HELP!!!
