Advice Please!
My fixed tarrif with Scottish Power is coming to an end, and I am now looking to switch.
The comparison sites all tell me that Click Energy 5 will be my cheapest, however it does not tell me whether the price on this tarrif will be rising in the near future, or whether the price displayed takes into account the recent rise.
Any ideas?

I think it's going up soon, I'm on click 5 and the rise hasn't taken effect yet?
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to swap anyway knowing that it will go up soon or do I just sit tight and wait for it to go up?
anyone know when click 5 is supposed to be going up?

see http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/you-switch-gas-electricityIt's all slightly different with online tariffs...
While energy companies have increased their main tariffs, some haven't yet upped their online tariffs, including British Gas Click Energy 5 and E.ON EnergyOnline Extra Saver 8.0 -
I've just done this, today. Worst case scenario is that the prices go up and I can cancel.
Interested to note the following clause in their Ts&Cs:7.2 If we raise your prices or make a change to this contract that puts you at significant disadvantage, we will let you know in writing within the following 65 working days. The price rise or change will not affect you provided that you:
(a) tell us that you want to end this contract within 10 working days of the day we tell you of the price rise or change; and
(b) you arrange for a supply from another supplier and we receive notice of this from your new supplier within 15 working days of the day you told us you wanted to end your contract.
...
8.1 You can end this contract for gas only, for electricity only, or for both as follows:
...
(c) In all other circumstances (except where clause 7.2 applies), by giving us at least 28 days’ notice, or as otherwise agreed0 -
So essentially it is at the top of the pile because the rises have not been factored in yet.
