  • After reading for hours last night about bootsing i could hardly sleep for excitement!! After explaining the concept to OH who looked at me in bewilderment we ventured in our local store. spent £5.xx on shaving foam for him and got 2 vouchers back! way hay! Got the no7 serum my mum loves normally 17.xx for 12.xx using voucher. so far so good AND got another two vouchers. Woo hoo! used two white vouchers for skin creams for mum, therefore costing nothing!!!! THEN to my horror noticed that if i'd spent £21 on no7 i would have received a free bag worth of goodies!! gutted. so going back tomorrow with my pink voucher n some balls of steel. thank u for your posts but think i've a long way to go before i'm a hardened bootser. I'll have a good go trying tho :j
  • The computer doesnt let me sign in on most websites and I cant understand why. I have tried changing settings but wont have it!!

    Any ideas?

    A quick question...
Does anyone know if meal deals are available in airport Boots during early evening hours or are they likely to all be gone by mid afternoon? Do Boots even stay open late in airports or just usual shop hours?

DS and his GF are flying from Newcastle tomorrow evening and are hoping to buy meal deals from Boots to take on the flight.

Airside are open till 10pm :)

That reminds me - (another possible stupid question coming up :o ) if it's stored properly (ie not open/unwrapped and stored in a dark place) how long will perfume keep for? It's just that I'm <wispers> almost finished for this year's xmas presents, so am thinking of putting them away for next xmas :o

Not a stupid question at all - stored away from both heat and light, perfume has a surprisingly long life. Today I'm wearing some Diorella I bought over 10 years ago, and I have some really vintage Guerlain that's still perfect. It's always worth keeping it in its box, even if that does mean you can't have it looking pretty on a dressing table.

I have a bottle each for my daughters stashed for Xmas 2009.

I am green with envy at all your bargains.

Seems to me that the pc police will only catch up with parents who live together .If they have cards at sep addresses the Boots police will not realise they are connected. It seems so unfair to take points away - surely a warning and an unsubscribe is all that is needed?

lol it really annoyed me when i thought that oh could have signed up at his moms and then it would have been ok but when i signed him up i thought it was ok, i dont remember it been mentioned that 2 parents werent allowed to so is this a new thing or was i just hypnoticed by the shiny blue boots sign. seems abit suspiciuos they only notice when we both have a fair bit on our cards though....oddly no mention of my old card that has 4.50 left on it as i never use it even though i could have spent the points but didnt as they would ask why i have two cards which im not sure about myself to be honest:confused: so i just dont use my old card.
    its all very odd
may now get all my 6 brothers to sign up at seperate adresses with imaginary babies just to annoy:rotfl: (wont really but have resorted to bizzare thoughts of revenge  )

The Time Delay lip plumpers in the new packaging say £2.49 in my Boots :(

Oh no, I thought I'd got a bargain, mine were £3.49 so got 2 , £7.00 less £5 voucher = £2 . I've paid £7.49 in the past. I really like these as well, my lips go really tingly, the colour is nice and natural for the day and I can believe I might get lips like Angelina. although OH says 'what's up' when I try to 'pout'. He says it looks like I'm sulking:rotfl:actually don't know why I'm :rotfl:it really p.............me off.

Can you confirm the new lip plumpers are £2.49 I was going to nip back in to my local tomorrow for 2 more

Scap the above, can work out how you put a line through, the ;last couple of nights I've read through all the thread before posting only to find everyone's left the party, this evening I thought I'd sneak in as I couple and the questions already been answered. Sorry
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

It was my hubby who helped me smile a bit more and the lovely posts from you lot too ;)

Hubby said "Well, I tell you what - I'll take you to boots tomorrow, you can buy all the lancome stuff you wanted, I'll pay - then you can email boots and tell them you have your own customer care team - me" *beams*

Silly but made me so happy....sorry, am I shallow? lol
Not at all... and he's definitely a "keeper"! (Though I'm sure you know that already, since you married him!)

Sounds like type of thing my bf would say... he's a "keeper" too! :)
