Right, which Boots should I visit tonight? Merry Hill or the Fort, Birmingham? I am only really wanting to spend my vouchers, pick up some reduced fragrance and maybe some reduced toys. Any tips guys?
A lot of the reduceds fragrances were sold out earlier at the fort, lots of gaps on the shelves, not sure if there was more stock going to be put out. Did not look at the toys, quite a bit of time delay & sanctuary but not under a fiver stuff.
Was contemplating Merry Hill but don`t fancy battling with the M6 may go to Tamworth see what they have instead, I need to get rid of my skincare vouchers0 -

Is there anything excuded from receiving the TS and pinkie? Need some painkillers tomorrow but they're cheaper at my local chemist, but will obviously buy from MrB if I'm going to get the vouchers! You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Had a nice little find in my little local Boots today, its a No.7 Ltd Ed Spring Tropical Eyes eye colour for 0.80p! It's lovely - has a humming bird inset into the main eye colour - and I put it through with the No.7 file & buffer set and a pinkie so they cost me £0.00:j .

I've only ever contacted CS once, re an allergic reaction my DD had to a No7 mascara which had required treatment from our GP and to be honest I felt as if my concerns weren't being taken seriously. The guy on the phone was really patronising and told me that my complaint was the first they had received about the product (big lie, many MSE'ers had complained about the same product to CS) and said that I didn't really have grounds for complaint as the mascara was part of a free gift with purchase and I should just throw it away.
I was pretty annoyed as I didn't see what the product being part of a GWP had to do with anything, I was reporting a problem with a Boots product and he just didn't want to know. I came off the phone feeling very cross and frustrated at his attitude.
The next day I packed up the mascara and wrote a covering letter to CS with details of the allergy and sent it off to the address on the back of the Boots receipt. Their attitude couldn't have been more different, within 3 days they had written back with a very detailed reply, offered to send samples of individual ingredients to our GP for allergy testing on request, explained a little about the allergy database they kept on all the products they sell, wished DD a speedy recovery and sent her a gift card to cover the cost of replacing the mascara several times over which was a nice bonus.
I do hope CS do reply to your email, if they don't then I'm sure you will receive a reply if you write a letter and put it in the post.
You know what Mrs BB, give it a year or two into your nurse training and I'm certain you'll find it a lot easier to be assertive with difficult people, it takes a bit of practice but you can do it, well done to you for not letting this go. Hugs to you and remember, Illegitimi Non Carborundum
Aw hunni, thank you ever so muchYour last comments made me smile and it was just what I needed as I have been short and snappy all day
:rotfl: i think its hard sometimes when complaining to remember you are in the right, and no to let big companies walk all over you
I know to Boots I am just a small fish in a sea of many but I am a loyal customer who at the very least deserves a little respect and the right to spend my points within their T&Cs. I don't expect SAs to fall about all over me, just to know their job, and to allow customers the right to purchase whatever they want without embarssing them....you post just proves what I mean about CS, they left me feeling the same way this morning, if I get no joy with my email, I will definitely write
And can I just say a big thank you to Scarlett, for helping me and encouraging me to complain :TTreasurer and Co Founder of - The Smile It Won't Hurt Club

Im so sorry to hear this. I hope you all get your points back soon.I cant believe both parents cant register their baby,it is a parenting club isnt it...how silly billy is that. Is the Boots empire going to collapse, because both parents have a 50p voucher off for baby custard:rotfl: :rotfl:I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A0 -

Hi Lisa, I know what you mean about the M6 but I was going to go around the back roads. Tamworth is a bit hit and miss at the moment but it doesn't sound like The Fort is worth it either. Looks like Merry Hill.:rolleyes:0
