Totally agree that, Ladyluck...and can I just say that by far the majority of SAs in Boots I have ever come across have beeen lovely-polite, helpful, courteous (even when a voucher/offer could not be applied-the Model me ones for example, they have been polite or even apologetic about it in the most part).
I think we all need to remember that in general we get back what we give in life and if we are fed up, terse etc it can rub off. Also, these people might well have had a rough day (abusive, stroppy customers and so on), so don't take it personally.
Of course there are going to be people in Boots, as anywhere in life, that we don't 'gel' with (or are just plain rude/stroppy) but thankfully they are in the minority.
I myself found one SA to be terse recently when I was using several of my pinkys/till spits (but I think it was because I was grabbing the things she was 'after' as I heard another SA ask, "Who's are all these wipes and things behind here?" and she said, "Oh-those are mine to get when I finish-they're all free!" C'est la vie!(((spoons)))0 -

Just found this on the WWW, this is the mascara that i have just been given by the very kind No7 Sa in my local, but she didnt know nothing about a free gift that comes with it...
how strange!
can hardly complain though can i , when she gave me the mascara for free anyways.. lolIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

lot of discussion regarding "dragon SA's"
one post in particular named SAs from a particular store as a bunch of loosers.
it's important to remember that a lot of SAs read this thread...
i know when i read things like this it doesnt exactly put me in favour of the customer. for you lot boosting is a bit of fun but just remember that we actually work in the store & deal with the public day in, day out.
I think it's important and fun to share and learn from each others opinions and experiences here, however I don't particularly like any sort of pigeonholing of people.
Whilst I am ready to listen to anyone telling me how great, or horrid, a specific SA is or has been, I don't enjoy reading generic put downs about any sort of people - and it leaves a negative vibe in the thread.
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

We could be here all afternoon, but yes Kitty*In*Boots i agree that it is a minority...
That's why its upsetting to find that forum members are labelling whole stores as a "bunch of loosers"
Most of my regular customers always have a natter with me & we talk about whats on on offer, vouchers, ac points etc...
However there is the occasional customer who will thrust a whole handful of vouchers at you without even saying a word. That annoys me, as i find it rude more than anything. Its important to remember that yes, the offers/vouchers are at our discretion so if a customer is chatty & polite i am much more likely to go the extra mile, i.e getting manager to override an offer thats not working, add extra points...0 -

Awh thank you I appreciate it, I would order more of.com to be honest than shop in store
Good news...
You can order ANY item that is on boots.com including 'web exclusives' from ANY till point in ANY store. The service is called 'Boots Direct'. He said however alot of SA's may not know about it as it is not used alot nor promoted as such. You will get points as normal when you pay but not any 'web exclusive' points etc
Bad(ish) news...
Boots.com do provide a service where you can order online and pay and then get it delivered to your local store free(thereby getting 'web exclusive' points and promotions) this is only currently availible to large stores due to storage issues etc. However it was temprarily suspended over a week ago as they are having MAJOR issues due to their new website. The impact of this may last till end of October. They will try to reinstate this before November in time for xmas ordering and there will be a link on the help pages to what stores it applies to.
So you can get your buggy deliveredHope that helps hun
