Thanks Cat, will try to pop into Harrow tomorrow PM to see if my Poundland has these. I have tried the ones from Woolworths but my tubs were filling up so quick, it was costing me a fortune in refills!

Good evening all, can I just remind you all to be extra cautious when out shopping. I was in the retail park today all ready for a No7/RM splurge as I've been saving my pinkies for this trip. I bent down to fasten lo trainers and put my bag beside me when some absolute gobsh**e has lifted it and had away with everything my phone vouchers keys and my purse which contained precious photos of my kids and my dd medical alert card. I just feel so stupid that I could have been so slack as not to realise. I've had to cancel all my cards. So I hope whoever it was is happy with themselves.

Sorry for the rant I'm just so annoyed

Hope you are ok SineadG, huni. In our Boots, there are signs up warning of thieves and for ladies to watch their handbags, etc.

    off now godnight all! xxx
  • welcome guys.. as i say there in a pack of 2 for£1 so worth a try at least ive had one in jess's window for the last what 4 months if not more and never had to empty it.when the water/damps gets it in,it turns the crytal to dust and it falls through into the bottom of the pot. so you can see how bad the problem is.
another good thing i found was if you have damp on the wall get some mr muscal damp and mould spray! you spray it on leave for 5 mins and the moudl goes brown and wipes away. when we did the stud wall when we moved in here the wall behind the wardrobe was black with damp i cried when i saw itr. sparyed on mr muscle and left it 5 mins and wiped away and its never come back since. Ive added extra heating too the room too so that helped but its good stuff, in a bright green squirty bottle

    Hmmm long post sorry guys
im not allowed to say what i think so ner!:p

Soooo sorry to hear about this.
And thanks for the reminder to be extra cautious, when you are an honest person within, you just don't give these things a moments thought. I am a fine one for leaving bags on the floor, while i 'sort myself out'.

Something good will be waiting round a corner for you!!!

    xx

Thank you ladies for your kind words. I suppose its the price you pay for being slack. From now on I'm sure I will be extra vigilant. x
