What a morning! Got a lift to the shops with my sister and hit Boots. No perfume reductions anywhere to be soon (sob!) although I did hear an SA saying they had had reduced 100 ml bottles in the week. S&G double body butter set still £16, DeadSeaSource triple body butter set still £17:99. Not a good start!

However, 2 hours later (you are all as bad as me for going round and round - and then round again, aren't you?!), after 29 transactions, spending about 12 Pinkies and 14 till spits, and doing the TS and Mitchum glitches (oooh, how addictive are these??!!) I was much happier. Have spent a happy afternoon playing with my goodies. Still have 5 TS vouchers but there were no more Long Hair serums left, and I drew the line at spending a whole £1:01 (even though I might have actually used the thermal wrap, and I definitely won't use the serum - how daft am I?!). Did get one jobsworth SA who wouldn't let me have two No7 tan Maintainers and the GWP as I hadn't spent £20, but I just went to a different till.

I hadn't realised how brill the Mitchum glitch is, and I was most impressed by the TS one, too - even though I already have loads of shampoo, naughty me.

Will be going again either tomorrow or Monday (or both?? tee-hee!)

Well and truly addicted again after my enforced (car-less) cold turkey.

Today, I managed to use up the 8 facial skincare vouchers that have been lurking in my bag:

2 x Time Delay Wipes
2 x Time Delay Cleanser
2 x Time Delay Toner
1 x Time Delay Exfoliator
3 x Sanctuary Charcoal Masks

so only had to pay 37p for that little lot.

My bargain of the day: Ange ou Demon Eau de Parfum 100ml - £16.25
(Originally £65.00!!). I paid for this with points, which hurt just a little, but what a bargain!

Not much on the reduced stand in the fragrance section, but well worth checking the SELs as a few are still mega reduced.

Tried to use a No.7 voucher at a SS till on R&M Eye Palette - BIG MISTAKE! Don't try it ladies and gents, it kills the machine. Luckily I had the nicest SA come and help me. She went away, had a chat with her manager at the main bank of tills, came back and told me that because it was half-price (down to £6) and therefore already on offer, I couldn't use my voucher. BUT as it was busy and I was a nice customer and being patient, she would override it and let me have it.:A

Anyway something happened when she was overriding the machine and it ended up I only had to pay 50p instead of £1. PLUS she gave me back my voucher to use on something else!! If you come on here by any chance - THANK YOU you're a star - you made my day!:T

loads of us get more than 1 of the no7 gwp and theres no problems with that so why should there be problems with other brands ??

The fine print on the card advertising the Elizabeth Arden GWP says one per customer. A lot of premium brands are probably that way. I think most SAs would let you have more as they either don't know the policy, or think it's crazy and would rather make a sale! But one who wanted to deny you is probably within her rights if she knows you've got one already. And No7 is a bit different, as those items are often located in displays around the store, including the gwp, so you don't even have to go to the no7 counter to get them, and could use a different till each time! Boots pushes it's own brand hardest, of course.

Ooooh just remember something - while I was queuing up at the perfume counter to get the body lotions, there was a woman wandering up and down the skin care, clutching her TS, looking confused. I left the queue and politely asked her "are you looking for something free to use that on?" and she said "yes", so I showed her the TD wipes, cleanser & toners and the sanc. wipes too saying "all of these are free with that". Do you know what she said? She said "oh" and just walked away, leaving me stood there like a lemon. I was fuming and called (quite loudly ) "no really, you're welcome". Grrrrrrr. Manners cost nothing, as my mum would say.

Boots was out of the sample, but I squirted some on from the tester. It is a sexy, "grown-up" fragrance. Nice. The SA told me all Estee Lauder counters are giving them out, so basically any store (not just Boots) will give you a sample if you request it -- no voucher required.

Also, a lady was giving out little vials of Gucci over by the Gucci display. Maybe there will be more of the same on Sunday for anyone who's looking.

aaahh rite didnt know that hun, ive never laid my hands on a gwp other than no7 lol

Hi I am in bristol at the moment and am hopefully going shopping, I still have 3 Pinkies and 1 skincare voucher. What are the boots like in Bristol and where will I find them? Also what is cribbs causeway like for bargains, I really dont know what to spend my vouchers on was debting to get no7 hair spritz with one lot and pay 5.75 for 4 and get gwp and then use that pinky on some gloves if i can find them. as for the other 2 I was thinking maybe the nail files that no7 do? I cant bear to part with anything that I have collected over the past few weeks is that sad? I also have a few TS vouchers to use so i hope i can find some serum or wraps.

Can you buy multiple items with the pinky and spit? xx
