Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
i managed it yesterday- lovely sa said"don't know if they'ill both go through but we'ill give it a go" went through & she said "that will make life easier" that was in the grays store. Also in the grays store at the till they had some No7 exfoliator reduced to £3.75.
Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

    FEB challenge £128/£270 balance £142
    £2 saving club £140
  • I tried to order a No7 mirror from boots.com last night (got it for £20 instore but my friend put his foot through it!) for £39.99, when I got to the checkout it took 10% off for health club discount. I thought the health club just discounted a few medicines and stuff??

Unfortunately when I tried to enter my card details it wouldn't work so gonna try again later and hope the discount still works!

The over 60's 10% discount is part of the Health Club. If your AC shows that you are over 60 then it would be automatically applied if you are a member of the Health Club. The discount is on all Boots own brand products including No7 :D

If you aren't over 60 then it might be worth letting CS know and getting them to send you a new card, a few people have reported having had this discount erroneously applied to their AC recently without their knowledge, it could cause problems when using your card instore if the SA thinks you are getting a discount that you aren't entitled to.

If it is 3 for 2 then effectively you could get things for almost the price of 1 with a pinky. EG Nail Varnish £6.50, get 3 for £13, use pinky £8 to pay so £2.65 ish each.

Yes, but they are only 1.50 each if you used three pinkies! I guess it depends on how many pinkies you have, lol. And of course new offers on the 10th may work with the pinkies. (and are you in London? The polish is 6.25 here, unless it's gone up in the last week or two).

    Hi
where is the clearance in here please.

    xx

I do apologise for my following explanation, I am rubbish at explaning things :rotfl:

the first few rows on the right as you walk in are make up, and then I think there is a normal row without makeup, other products. and then if you go up the next row theres usualy clearance stuff on the right of the isle, they usually do all sorts of stuff, make up, bath stuff, etc etc

  • My order still wasn't processing so I had to phone up the number on the website. I did mention there was a discount showing in my basket for the mirror and he said its part of a discount for the health club - I'm hoping I don't sound over 60 on the phone!! (I'm 18!!) Can I check my details on the advantage card kiosk instore?

By the way I was told they're still having problems with the new website, even when I rang up to process my order they had to charge me 98p delivery because of a bug on the site but I got 200 advantage card points credited for the trouble :)

I had the same feeling as you last when, followed by store tec (for aaages).
Kept calm, and decided that this was his job...the more he follows me...the sooner he will relise that i pay for ALL my goods. I'M not sure about this but, would presume that they cannot question unless actually SEE you pilfering.
Is this correct??? WOuld be extremely bad cus relation if stopped and questioned without actually having proof!!! surely!!!

    xx
This REALLY bugs me !!! It happens to me all the time and really puts me off Boots. The security guards are WAY too heavy handed. I'm a respectable looking person who never gets GWPs without proper spend (cos I'm chicken not cos I'm against doing it !!) or anything like that, and I never use the SS tills. I'm a meek and mild person who would never challenge a security guard but am getting tempted to ask "Is there a problem ?". There are WAY more dodgy looking people than me around, but I think it's when you do a transaction and then go round again and again, using lots of coupons. I mean, come on !! How many shoplifters have you ever seen clutching loads of vouchers ???
I would have written several letters to CS by now, but I don't want to draw attention to myself as I do use a lot of vouchers together, which, in theory they could clamp down on (e.g. TD coupon along with skincare spit) etc.
EDIT: Sorry about that rant !!

She discovered at 500pt vchr on £20 baby dept spend too, so she needed 14 x £1.99(baby expert) to qualify for points, but would only cost her £3.50 due to 2 for £3 and using a PC :)
