One of the things I found about having PND (after both, and yet another reason to stop thinking about babies!) is that I felt so out of control all of the time and once I started 'gaining control' in small ways-it was very hard for everyone to deal with-I felt like I had lost control over the kids and that I was just a paid skivvy-and when DH and were apart, I started doing things with them, and having fun again and I was much more tolerant with them as well. DH didnt like the role he was in then of not being 'the good guy' all the time! It's all about checks and balances isn't it?
It sounds like a real 'trust' issue (reading between the lines) and again, it is something were STILL dealing with after my debt admission 3 years ago! I could completely understand that from his point of view so I leave everything now for him to go over with a fine tooth comb-and Im not afraid to say 'I'm skint hun, we'll have to wait to get groceries until tomorrow' etc whereas before I was to proud/scared/stupid to admit I didn't have any money (and I think I impressed him very much with how well I was budgeting when I moved out) and he can see I'm not spending on cards etc. (Like anyone would give me one! ha ha ha ha)
Jinky hun, in your heart of hearts, do you want to make it work?
I didn't realise how much I loved and appreciated DH until I left (and saw what was left out there in the big wide world *shudder*) and things are so much better.
Anyhoo, I'll stop wittering on. (((hug)))Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Morning RS. Where've you been hiding? Did you enjot the wedding? Were you happy with the final outfit? Where's the pics?you missed where was it?
what did you eat?
how did you get there?
what did you drink?
did you dance?
was the bride nice?
Hellooo.. I've been having to work hard since I got back!
The wedding was fantastic, such a lovely day, gorgeous weather, lovely venues (it was in Somerset... we got there courtesy of my dad driving and me navigating/ arguing with the sat nav), the bride (my cousin) looked absolutely beautiful.. I don't think I've ever seen two people so obviously in love :smileyhea The speeches were so emotional, think everyone ended up crying at some point!
Outfit was fine, I felt like the top was a bit loose but by the end of the night after lots of food it seemed to be OK :rotfl: Errr.. have I covered everything? We ate lots of nice meat and salads (and potatoes prepared by me) and loads of cake/ puddings/ strawberries and cream, I drank lots of champagne
.. oh and danced a bit.
Was great seeing lots of family I hadn't seen for ages (thankfully none of the ones who've fallen out with each other turned up!)... and finally, I haven't sorted my photos out yet, but after all that stressing over an outfit, I don't think I've got any of myself!!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Sounds like it was great fun.
We've got a reception for a couple of friends who got married in the States last year on 13th and I'm starting to stress about what to wear! I usually dress to camouflage the lumpy bits in the middle but now I've got a bump to be proud of I'm not quite sure what to do. Dress code is smart casual (i.e no lkilts ot tux's) which isn't a surprise knowing the couple. Still want to feel glam and glowing though26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
