Nationwide Contents Insurance

Options
Some of you might have read about my flood recently on the Warnings board. Some furniture and belongings were damaged so I called Nationwide to make a claim.

As it was only a relatively small claim (my furniture is only cheap stuff and none of the handbags or clothes ruined were Prada!!) and my first claim, the woman authorized the amount over the phone and I received a cheque, less the excess, within four days. It was one phone call, no forms or visits or anything, so I was very pleased! Plus it was the cheapest contents insurance available for my area, even though it was sold along with my mortgage (I did shop around).
