Advice about switching please!

Hi, I am currently with Atlantic Electric and Gas (standard tariff) and I used the comparison site (Energyhelpline) to see if it is worth me switching/capping etc.
The ones it came up with for the biggest savings seem to be the online tariffs that haven't gone up yet so I looked at the capped deals. It appears that I could save money (expected savings £108 annually) by switching to Scottish Power Fixed Price 2009 Online.
As far as I am aware Atlantic haven't put their prices up yet?? so am I right in thinking that it would be worth the switch to Scottish Power?
Thanks in advance for any advice - I'm struggling to get my head around it all!

Atlantic are the only ones of the suppliers that haven't put their prices up yet...but that's not to say that they won't.
TBH, it's only a matter of time, they will put the prices up at some point as everyone else has.
It seems quite good that you could be saving on a capped deal with SPow compared to the rates at the moment (that haven't increased) the only catch with a fixed one is if the prices come down, you'll be paying more until the end of the period.
E.On have new products available, fixed and capped, but might be more than you are currently paying.Dannii_B
