need to buy a multi region dvd player. any suggestions ?

i am looking for a cheap multi region DVd player which should play DVD-+R / DVD-+RW / mpeg / mpeg2 + other format.

currently i am using Comets own brand proline DVd player which plays all formats (i have tried most though) mentioned above but just wondering if any cheaper available ...cheers

    can you not find a hack for it.... that's cheaper than buying a new one!

    Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

    Theres a very good selection of DVD players in Asda at the moment starting from £19 and going up to £60.

    Look at Richersounds, I bought a Goodmans multi-regional for 29.95, great price and good brand, they have others around the same price.

    true but the dvd players dont show online...

    right ! i might find a hack on ebay but that will make the dvd player region free but it wont still play DVd-+RW / R

    Agree with everyone who says Richer Sounds is the way to go. They have knowledgable staff who will beable to help you.

    I got a multi-region Philips (really nice looking) DVD player a year ago for £40 from them :j

    Don't know what you're prepared to spend , but THIS Philips for £39.98 sounds very good IMO

  • i am sort of prepared to spend less than £29.99 for a multi-region dvd player that will play DVD-+R/RW and other formats...any in market ? cheers
