Cost of fumigation

Hi everyone. I have just moved into a rented house and am determined to have 2 cats! Our contract states that if the landlord gives permission to keep animals (I wouldn't get them without permission), we have to have the house professionally fumigated on leaving the house. I need to plan whether I can afford these cats. Does anyone know how much it costs to get a 2 bed, 2 reception house professionally fumigated (presumably for fleas)?
I'll be using Frontline anyway so there shouldn't actually BE any fleas...
Thanks!

I think councils normally subsidise the treatment for everyone, not just council tenants, mine quoted £50. I didn't have it done as I was only asking for the same reasons as yourself just in case my landlord required me to do it. Before I moved in (ie no furniture in) I sprayed the entire house with a vet strength flea spray (Indorex), concentrating on the edges, and my cat was frontlined regularly so I had no problem with fleas.
Try ringing your council and seeing how much they charge, there is another thread on here where a council did it for free and they weren't council tenants either!0 -
