you might find this interesting........

I do ! this person is a criminal, by their own admission they admit to watching live TV. This "person" is sponging off the rest of us.

I have no time for the TV licensing people, having had many unjustified threatening letters from them, but if you watch live TV you must have a licence. Why does this sponger think we should pay and he shouldn't ?

I thought they had stopped watching broadcast TV - as in this statement
"I have therefore decided to stop watching broadcast television "

So that means they wouldn't need a licence surely?

• They are rubbish, we live in an old house thats been converted in to 4 flats, yet we still have red letters from them addressed to flat 5! There never has been a flat 5! Idiots!
I would love to see the inspecter when he comes looking for flat 5!

What annoys me is that the cost of all these letters is passed on to the licence fee payers, are you happy that the BBC wastes your money on sending letters to non existant addresses?

We don't watch TV, and don't have a licence. We have phoned them several times to tell them, however they keep sending us the letters. I just recycle them, however I was wondering how the people who pay feel about their money being sent on useless letters, and not TV programs.
• there is something on the bbc site, asking for peoples thoughts about the way tvl is collected..

reading this thread, it seems they want to scare people into getting a licence, with the fear of having to go to court being the only way to prove you dont have / need one-

a total waste of resources, and court time, imo..

they wil need the extra space for all the credit card reclaims!
