New UPVC windows

I had UPVC double glazing installed last week. They have no vents installed. The last two days the condensation on the bedroom bay has been pretty bad. It has been very cold in the mornings (outside). Does this sound like an installation problem or is it simply a metter of locking windows in the vent position? They have been locked completely.

Its just a case of your house now being a very effective hermetically sealed unit. The bedroom will be worst because you are in it for 6+ hours a day breathing out pints of water which has to go somewhere.
This happened when we first had ours done but is solved by good ventilation. Only worry if you are getting condensation between the panes of glass as this shows that the uPVC unit is damaged.
  • The condensation definitely only on the inside. I may try locking them in the vent position anyway. Thanks.
  • condensation can also be caused by heating pattern .try having your heating on constant but lower heat seating .most condensation is caused by people heating the house up all day then turning off at say 10pm and letting the house cool down over night.also try putting the windows on night vent
