Keep trying folks...it was like this last sale time but I eventually got through then and got some real bargains.

Can some kind London MSEer let me know the nearest TL to Victoria station, so that when I do get into the site I am raring to go.

  • Hi everyone

on the first page of this thread, there was a 'hints and tips' from someone (thank you for that:beer: ) suggesting taking National Trust venues into consideration when choosing a travelodge (I still can't get onto the website  !!!).

I can't remember where I (recently) first came across this, but if you join National Trust via the Scottish membership, it is at a greatly reduced price for the membership :j . However, you get the scottish handbook and not the UK one. This, I would think, is no great biggie... haven't tried to find a recent one yet (possibly on ebay?), but will when my hubby and I join.

Also, when in Dartmoor (for the folk festival) recently, there was a stand where someone was selling English National Trust membership at, again, greatly reduced price (so obviously, there are agents who can do deals!!! blimey!) and I asked him about the Scottish membership fee and he validated the info. So, deffers worth thinking about and shopping around.:money:

Hope this isn't taking everything too far away from the main thread subject, but wanted to let you know (in case no-one has already) and I don't have time today to go hunting around the threads, so please forgive me for that!

    Happy Thursday

Our website is currently being visited by an unusually high number of customers all looking for great value hotel accommodation.
We want to make sure those customers who are already on the site can have the best booking experience. So we are temporarily restricting the number of customers who can visit the site. This restriction shouldn't last long and we would ask you to try again in a few minutes.
    We apologise for the inconvenience.

... so then why do i constantly get chucked off....
i found some rooms but havnt even been able to click on them to even attempt to book :( boo
