Can the council let property to me for temporary accommodation if the landlord has not renewed the lease of the property?

Can you explain a bit more? Has the landlord given you notice to leave or have they simply not renewed? You don't have to renew a lease, it automatically rolls over (normally) and they still have to give you 2 months proper notice, you see.

Hi and thanks for replying , no I havent been told to leave , just wanted do know if it affect my tenancy in anyway negative way

No. If you don't sign a new contract then the tenancy becomes a Periodic Tenancy.

Essentially, it continues on the same terms as you originally agreed until either of you give the appropriate notice. It's perfectly normal not to sign a new tenancy.

So no, the council will not rehouse you as you have a legally binding tenancy. Even if your landlord was giving you notice and you had absolutely nowhere to go, the council would tell you stay put until you had actually been legally evicted.
