Can someone help or give me advice?
On the 27th of Aug I had 30 boxes delivered from MFI which was basically two bedroom suites. I was in on my own when delivered and as a young girl I waited for the delivery guys to deliver my stuff. They only gave me a checklist right at the end to check and one of the guys said 'yeah 30 boxes - sign here' he counted the boxes with me and then he said 'oh your missing one box' which was a bag of handles. I said to the guy that I didn't want to sign that I had checked , as I hadn't checked the boxes to the order codes correctly. he said 'that's ok you can just put a comment down and you have 72 hours to check' I did this and signed off the order.
My comment was 'too many boxes to check will check on 28/08' i started building some of the items but only got through about 5 boxes. I continued building on the 31st and on this date I had noticed that I was missing just one box of drawers for my chest of drawers. i rec'd the carcass.
I phoned up the customer service centre and they were shut. I then phoned them up the next day and they said I was outside my charter to claim back!
I'm really upset as what am I going to do with just a carcass! I said surely there would be a box full of drawers left over from the drop and they said they will check. It is now Tues and they are still messing me around. Any ideas what I could do!
