Lg Intellowasher DD 7kg

First of all hi to everyone who uses these forums as i am a Newbie . I am needing a bit of TECHNICAL advice concerning a second hand washing machine i have just bought . It is MODEL WM 1080 FHD white front loader washing machine with DIRECT DRIVE . The washing machine works fine but with one small fault . When i program the onboard computer to start a wash , i get an error message in the digital display of de which means door not closed correctly. This message goes off after 2 minutes and the washer starts up with no problems . I have cleaned out the door catch and tightened up the hinges on the door a little but still same problem. It is the sensor on the door catch which is causing the problem . I am hoping someone knows of a service engineers codes to reset my MACHINE to hopefully cure this little glitch . Any other suggestions would be gratefully appreciated to try and get my LG INTELLOWASHER DD 7KG running 100% again. It would cost a fortune to call out a service engineer for a technical glitch as you can imagine .
Thanks in advance from Steve .

Try checking on the UK Whitegoods site - they have lots of info and a helpful forum where you can post details of your problem and (hopefully) receive expert advice from those in the know.

I have no connection with the site, just found it very useful diagnosing dishwasher and washing machine problems. HTH.
  • Thanks very much for your suggestion bobsmum i will go to that link and see what they can come up with . Cheers !
