Sick and disabled people do not get a fuel allowance in the way that pensioners do. If the temperature drops below freezing and you are on income support you get a payment of about £8.50 but only if the temp is that low for 7 days.
If you were a homeowner you would probably be eligible for a Warm Front grant but I am not sure of the rules in respect of rented accommodations.
If your fuel bills are more than 10% of your income, most energy providers will give a discount under the fuel poverty scheme.
