If I had the money..... it would be a Radley Bag...
If you do Ebay it, please go careful. Lots of fakes being sold and scammers buying genuine ones out there and buckets of different types of scams. And I am preaching to the converted, aren't I!!!!???
yes you are!! My Radley is genuine got it from Debenhams0 -
have to say, Radly bags (and bags in general) don't 'do' it for me. I'm happy with my Tesco £5.99 jobby!
I don't have any posh shoes, but if I did.......they'd have to be pulled from me forcibly! :rotfl:

As others have mentioned I'm not much of a bag lady but I can understand your pain in parting with it...unfortunally I don't have much of any worth...I spent all my money on my TV/Laptop/iPod items like that...and they loose so much money when second hand...if things don't get better I'll sell the iPod....i'm not parting with my laptop and my TV...well I'd only get about £200 for it if I was lucky and it'd need replacing.
But be proud of yourself and think of the lovely bag you can buy and will be 100% yours and paid for when this is all over!Debt as of 08.09.08: Car Loan - £2303.41 Asda Credit Card - £2033 HFC Bank - £229.11 Overdraft - £287ebay profits - £29.40 Savings Jar - £40.06 Money Owed - £24 last updated 08.09.08:j onwards and upwards! :j0 -
Have I had to sell anything!! Ha Ha! :T
Right, in Feb 2007 I told my ex H it was over, he moved out of the house and i struggled to pay half the bills on my salary (he was always the far bigger earner) and when we gave up trying to sell the house I was £2k in debt from having more going out than i had going in. I also took on £3.8 of family debt from the divorce (he took on the rest of the debt, the mortgage and the house) and I managed to have to borrow about £2.5 from my parents to pay for a deposit on my new place, christmas, and the last months payment to the ex for the house.
Anyway, to cut a long story short I need to clear this debt and so have moved out of the lovely but expensive flat I've been renting since November and into accommodation where I work to save £500 pcm.
Problem though. It's one single room, and this time last year, I was living in a three bedroomed house.:D
You name it, I'm selling it or have sold it! At times it was heartbreaking, but at others a little bit of a relief. I know I'm going to have to start again when I'm out of this mess and want to buy my own place, but at least the stuff willl be just my own, and I'll save for it all and love each thing dearly.saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

I've never owned a Radley bag but I have seen them in magazines. I can see the attraction. For me the pain would come if we sold one of our prints or paintings.... afraid it's not going to happen but luckily it shouldn't need to for us. Yes we could pay things off quicker but for me the pictures make the room they could have been designed for it so I couldn't let it go.
We sold my husband's prize motorbike once to pay for our third party fire and theft car to be fixed after he crashed it! Now for him that was major pain!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have been warned that no matter what, I MUST NOT touch his collection of roleplaying games. No way sista! Even though he doesn't read them, or even look at them (bookshelf is 2 deep!) I am not allowed to sell any of them. He's pretty materialistic - loves his warhammer stuff, xbox and books. Shame he works for games workshop, and thus not allowed to sell any related products - there's a good few thou under my bed....
I'm not that materialistic, there's not much in the house that I have a deep attachment to (apart from photos etc) but once I'm debt free, we're saving to move to the USA, and I want a nice comfy house with a pool in a good area. No more demilitarized zones! I'll be happy being able to stick my card in a machine without it laughing at me.This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Blimey, I may be joining you in selling a Radley bag!
Been horrendous for paying out this week with the boys going back to school and having to get last minute bits (as the trousers I had bought are now too small!) plus haircuts etc and my budget just cannot take it... I now have the princely sum of £20 to last me until next Monday!
I got so depressed earlier outside the shop after buying the gas and electric, I burst out crying and felt such a failure to my kids, all their friends can go out places, nice holidays etc and what do I give them? Kitchen rolls cut in half to act as toilet rolls! :rotfl:
I feel a bit cheerier now as I gave myself a good talking to...things arent that desperate we can't eat and we have had weeks like this before, although these weeks are getting all the more frequent now.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I know I keep telling myself how lucky we are we have a roof over our heads and plenty to eat and drink even though it doesnt always seem like that. When you look how some people in this world really suffer it makes you feel lucky for what you have. Who care about a bloomin Radley bag.0 -
