Depends by which measure it is 'average.'
There is no such thing as a universal credit score. Each institution works out a score for you based on your credit reports and other information you provide them with to an in-house algorithm.
For example, just because (say) Experian gives you 1000/1000, doesn't mean you'll automatically be accepted to an institution looking for (say) people with occasional missed payments.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
