Bank cancelled Overdraft!!

Hey, ive just finished my first year at Uni.
Went on my student account to pay of student credit card (yes im an idiot with a credit card, but i pay it off whenever i use it straight away) for same account, but it wouldnt let me! After checking out my account a bit, saw my overdraft had been cancelled!
This left me Overdrawn, and unable to pay off my credit card! Thing is I dont know how long Ive been overdrawn for, and the bank never sent me a letter or seemed to attempt to contact me about cancelling my overdraft!! Can they do thhis?

It just seems wrong as they knew I have four years of University, so will need the overdraft for 4 years!
Anyone else had this kind of problem??

Have you actually been into your local branch and spoken to one of those human being bank employee things about it?

It could just be a mistake which they will rectify for you, and if not, then they will explain why they did it.

Have you been paying your loan into the account?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Phoned the bank and they said that a letter was sent out, which i never recieved. Basically every 12 months i have to renew it so they can increase it and mae sure im still in uni. But was completely unaware of this as i never got the letter.
Its just a hastle due to the lack of communication and a worry when you can see youre getting charged for something you cant correct!!
