Hi,
I have finally bought a sat nav :T
After a lot of research I plumped for the Garmin 250w/s with european maps, lots of good feed back especially "easy to use"
My query is, how can I load 'extras' into it, POI's including fuel stations? If I can load these will it automatically include UK and europe?
Actually it only came with very basic setup instructions, I need more than that
Thank for any help.

I've got the same model Garmin, and the feature works very well.
Just use Where To, Points of Interest, Fuel (for example) and it will list them by name and distance from where you are (or you can use the Near... option to find them near somewhere else).
It works even when you are already navigating a route, and if you choose a place from the POI list, you can add it as a Via Point so that it will divert to the POI and then resume your original route.
This is great for finding cheap fuel outlets just off motorways, to avoid the very expensive service station fuel.
One other thing: Before you try out something like POI Loader (the Garmin utility) back up your satnav memory to your PC first!0
