Hi folks,
After a camcorder, but don't want to buy from a store with poor customer care.
Can anyone recommend a GOOD store, one where they are helpful if the item breaks down, and doesn't fob you off with posting the item off to be repaired.
Any advice would be very greatly appreciated!!
Many thanks in advance!

John Lewis. Without a doubt. Any time I've needed a refund or replacement for anything, they were prompt and efficient. I had a £699 Apple MacBook turn up with a screwed screen (apparently quite common on that line) and they instantly arranged delivery of a replacement and collection of the broken one with one phone call, no questions asked. I also ordered a Krups coffee maker, which arrived damaged; again, one phone call, instantly replaced (the coffee maker itself is crap, but that's not JLs fault...). Nike trainers, too small; instant arrangement of collection and refund. They don't screw around, basically.
They also have a good reputation for customer service (deserved IMHO).
(Yes, I used to work for their supermarket arm, but still, they're good
