Hello
My OH has a credit card with MBNA currently at £7k on it .... he's been with them for the last 7 years and last week phoned up to check interest rate and it was 27% ... they offered to reduce it to 18% which they did... he applied for a Barclaycard which is 0% on balance transfers and got accepted .... but it turned up with a £2.5k limit on it and when he phoned to ask about a balance transfer limit they said it was £1900 only ... are there any 0% balance transfer credit cards out there that will allow him to transfer the full £7k??
If not is there a credit card that offers low interest rate for life sort of thing??
Cheers

The site has full instructions below and linked sites with current deals.
2.5K is low but it obviously depends a lot on your OH's credit history. It maybe that other current 0% offers will offer more. Capital One, Abbey or Halifax are worth a try (not altogether obviously).
A life of balance reduced rate maybe the better option though, because 7K is a lot to pay off in 12-15 months.
