Incapacity benefit

Can anyone explain to me when benefits cease to be paid when you eventually begin to work again? I am afraid that I will be left with a gap in my financies for up to a month with no money.

IB will stop the day before you start work. Depending on how long you've been claiming IB, a Job Grant may be paybale to you of (I think) either £150 or £250.

dont they have a 4 week over run in some cases? You'd be better giving them a ring and see whats available.

There is no 4 week run on for IB.
IB is a daily benefit, and only payable for days for incapacity.

In addition to a possible Job grant, a Return To Work Credit could also be payable.
