    have you got a quote from Halifax........ most say they are one of the cheapest.......


    they are all only as good as your first claim........but hali sound ok

    Surely you can only 'force' them to replace like with like if that's the cover you've paid for? Which at nearly £500 I would hope is the case, when there are so many better deals available, but if you went for - I can't think what the phrase is - 'giving you what it's worth now rather than what you'd have to pay out to replace it with a similar model' then that valuation sounds about right to me. But I'm no expert!
