Is this a business? I can't say I've heard of a domestic contract unless you mean it's a capped/fixed rate?
Four times more sounds a huge difference. Please post more details to see if anyone can help.0 -

it is a business contract yes , so it looks like were stuck! Our house is on the same bill, anyone any idea if its possible or worth getting another gas metre to put the house on separate? Cheers0

what are you paying? If it less than 4.0p/unit then you will not make a saving with an alternative business gas supply. You should have a VAT form for the domestic consumption to reduce your costs. The only time an energy contract ends is if the ownership changes. For example: your company is bought out by or merged with another, then the 'new' company would need to do a 'change of tenancy' with the supplier. They would then have to negotiate a new contract for the new business. Failing that if your business changed locations you would inform the energy company that your premises were now domestic and they would probably have to change you to a 28 day contract.0
