JPS - When did u order??

Mine still says:

ITEM ON BACK ORDER
This item is currently out of stock but new stocks have been ordered. When they arrive your item will be despatched immediately. You will receive confirmation when your item has been despatched.

I had ordered a 60gb one, but today I got the 'cancellation requested' email like JPS. They had taken the money from my account.

I phoned them and they said that they had no more stock of the 60gb one and if they did get any more in then it would be several months. They said they had refunded the money to my account and it would show up in a few days.

Tried to argue that by taking the money they had effectively created a contract and should therefore supply me with an equivalent product but this didn't work. >:(

Anyone else had any luck?

I ordered one at the beginning on 21st Nov, and when I phoned yesterday was told they were expecting more next week.

Although I too have the message :

CANCELATION REQUESTED
This refers to either a request by yourself to cancel the item or circumstances which have forced us to cancel (for example: long-term non-availability).

They have already taken the money from my cc.

A bit out of order charging the credit card when they have none in stock though.

Mine was showing as "item on back order" this morning, now its showing as "cancellation requested", although (probably like most people) i didn't request cancellation.

Also they've taken money out of my credit card.
