Pioneer Cinema system - fixed :)

I have a Pioneer XV-DV222 system which is quite a few years old. Suddenly it's stopped playing certain discs, discs which have previously played okay before.

I get a message saying "no disc" but when I try another disc it might play fine.

Any ideas what it could be? I have restored to factory settings but it makes no difference. All the discs are shop bought original discs.

Have you tried running a DVD lens cleaner through it?

No. Never heard of one of those.:o

Yeah, those are the kinda thing...keep an eye out in the supermarkets, £ shops etc though - they shouldn't cost more than a couple of quid..

Thanks a lot. Just bought the Maplin's one and cleaned and the discs are now playing no problem.
