Hi Guys have just received a pishing email asking for all my details, stating that I have won £835,000 - just by them picking my hotmail account - they ased for my address, phone number, passport etc!!! :mad: :mad:
I'm not fooled by these IDIOTS!!!!!:rolleyes:
But others maybe how can I stop them - or help to stop them?????:A

Just delete it. Responding to the email "proves" they have a live address and can send more rubbish...0

Usually there isnt a lot you can do with these ones, however, those related to banks and financial institutions are always worth fireing off to their fraud depertments, most post email addresses for phishing emails to be forwarded to.

windows LIVE (which as far as I know IS hotmail unless you need to upgrade?) has a REPORT PHISHING SCAM button near the top of the screen inbetween NOT JUNK and MOVE TO:idea:0 -

If the email purports to be from a Bank, they tend to have depts which specialise in these alerts. If it's one of those lottery winning ones, mark it as spam and don't respond as it will only show them that your email address is live.
Pishing! Excellent - an entirely apt name for it.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
