Help getting a Current Account

I have had a basic account with Lloyds TSB and been with them for nearly 2 years now and they have marked my credit file as good since i have had the account.

The problem i have with the card now is am working abroad alot now and am unable to use my card at ATM machines due to the type of card they gave me as i have to use it at Lloyds TSB ATM's only.

This year so far i have been accepted for the following credit so i dont see where the problem is really.

car loan
personal loan
2 credit cards
mobile phone
etc

Anyone know of which bank would accept me for a account am looking for.

thank you in advance

  • Yorkshire Bank Ready Cash account is the best basic current account if you cannot still get a full current account.

If you are abroad the best account to look at would be the NAtionwide FlexAcceount - they don't charge for foreign withdrawls.

What type of card do you get with them then?

Might just walk into Lloyds TSB and tell them am moving and see what they say and if they upgrade my account.
