Hi,
Am looking into kennels for my dobe and wondered what I should look for and generally the cost of them?
Can anyone recommend any in South East London or Kent?
Thanks
H

Hi there,
The boarding kennels I use for my dog is on the outskirts of Dartford if that helps. They are called Canada Farm Boarding Kennels. It is a small place and they are really nice there and it's in loads of countryside. All dogs have their own heated individual kennels and runs. My dog is medium sized and costs £14 a day (including bedding and food). I think large dogs are £15 a day. This seems to be the going rate. We used to use some kennels in Surrey but they raised their price to £25 a day plus VAT
They are very popular so it's always advisable to book as far in advance as possible.0 -
That is such a co-incidence we went to see them on Sunday and couldn't find them! I rang them and they told me they were next to the crossroads by Brands Hatch but all I could see was a dirt road and then they didn't answer the phone when I called back - so wasn't very impressed!
But they did sound good, and they had the space as well.0 -
They are really hard to find and they are on a really small (one car wide) country road! If you have Sat Nav great, if not print a map off Multimap to take with you. It took me a while to find them too the first time lol. Because they are a small kennels they have around 2 or 3 people working at any one time who are doing the kennel duties as well as answering the phone and dealing with arriving and departing dogs, so please don't be put off by them not answering straightaway.
Someone also recommended a place called Aunty Caroles, but I have never used her so can't really comment.0 -
Is there not a dog sitter available in your area?
It is better for the dogOwing on CC £00.00 :j
