Hi All,
I had a credit card a number of years ago (Cap1). The amount oweing on it was around £200, but because of circumstances kept missing the early repayment amounts. And because of this was been charged month on month (charges + interest). The amount now stand at around £800. And for the last 2 years been passed to a collection agency..
What can I do...
Thanks

Why would they claim back the charges and interest? Charges i would say theres something to look at as unless they've charged £12 per penalty occurred then you have something to go on.
Interest however is something you've agreed to when you use the card, if you don't pay off the balance in full and on time then you'll be charged interest for the amount outstanding.
More importantly why have you let it accumulate to this stage? I'm sure if you called them up and explained the situation at the time then it wouldnt have come to this!0
