What are you going to with your £60?

After April we will still have the increased tax free allowance i.e. we will continue to see £10 more in our pay. That is assuming the allowance stays the same, but it always increases anyway so we'll see more in nominal terms. Whether you are better off now depends on your income. This fix means that nobody should be worse off than they were before they lowered the tax rate and got rid of the 10% band.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0

The catch comes next year when the PA doesn't increase beyond the treasury's initial intentions so the hit is simply being delayed.
Is that true, or speculation? If true, I hadn't heard of that and think it's a rip!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
Just wondered if anyone can advice if I'll be entitled to £60.
I have paid tax through code 543L through most of the year but recently changed over to 509L to account for a tax shortfall last year (due to agency messing my tax up)0 -
Okay - I have decided:
I will buy a very large bottle, maybe two, of wine - approx. £15.00
A Chinese take-away - approx £15.00
50 grammes of roll-up tobacco - approx £11.00
And a couple of pints of beer.
If there is anything left, I will probably 'squander' that on unnecessary and extravagent rubbish.
PS - My tongue is so far in my cheek that I have almost bitten it off.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
