Diversified Domestic Growth Funds

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I can find a diversified domestic growth fund that:

- has performed in the top quartile of all mutual funds over the last 3-5 years;
- Has averaged an annual rate of return of about 20%; and
- Has an A+ or A rating.

Thanks.

    Does it matter? What has gone before in the last 3-5 years certainly isnt what is going to occur in the 3-5 years coming.

    Can you clarify what you mean by domestic? Do you mean FSA authorised unit trust/oeic or a fund in UK all companies sector?

    Ratings are overated. They are only evidence that a fund got an award when a rating firm was bothered to get round to rating it. That may have been under a previous manager, risk profile or fund objective. Some ratings are woefully out of date.

    Thanks for replying Dunstonh.

    Yes I do mean 'a fund in UK all companies sector.'

    Grateful for the input about risks, it doesn't really matter I guess. What criteria should I be looking at in order to choose the right fund? Looking to drip feed several hundred pounds into one over the next couple of years. Bit mythed at the moment as each time I look in the papers or on websites every expert recommends a different fund!

    What do I need to type into a search engine to find an appropriate fund?

    Cheers.
