maestro payments how long do they have to take the money.

hi guys i paid for a holiday 6 weeks ago via a switch payment (chip and pin) on my maestro card but they still have not taken the money.

so i was wondering how long do they have to debit the money. tried looking on maestro's web site but no answers there.

    it is technically less than 30 day as the have to follow Mastercard International Rules. If it came out after this the bank could technically bounce it or if you really wanted to you could successful dispute it and have it removed.

    I have however noticed in the T&C for an account and I cannot recall which one it was that they are now saying they will not be responsible when a transaction is presented late.
