I know it sounds like a wild and crazy idea - but have you tried actually sticking to your diet?

    sorry... couldn't resist!

Tell us what your trying to do and why your having trouble sticking to it - then we might be able to give you some pointers
  • Calm down!! You only need to lose 3-4lbs each MONTH! That's easily done...just easy sensibly(smaller portions and stick to low fat foods only) and exercise 2-3 times a week.

It can be done.....you just need to stick to it like hot chick said.

It all works out good in the end.
If it's not good, it's not the end!

Hi, I've posted this link on similar threads because it's worked for me:

    https://www.foodfocus.co.uk

You can log everything you eat and your exercise and it adds up the calories. You can choose how quickly you want to lose weight, e.g. 1lb per week, and it gives you a calorie limit per day.

You can then eat whatever you want, as long as you keep within your calories. Really simple. I've lost 8lb so far and have found it really easy to stick to, I don't really feel like I've actually changed my diet much at all.

And if you want to eat something naughty, then just make sure you do some exercise to offset it!

The simple theory of eat less calories, lose weight has got to work better than some faddy diet that you might struggle to stick to and then put all the weight back on when you stop. I've found the best thing is the education you get about what contains high/low calories, it's an eye opener!

When I done slimming world, there was a recipe for a healthy ferrero rocher?
I can't find it but I'm sure it was a spoon of nutella melted in the microwave and then crush dark rye ryveta and mix! Then roll into bite size chunks.
You are allowed 4 ryveta a day as a healthy extra, but 2 of the dark rye one's are super speed! you should get about 30 bitesize chunks and just pop them in the fridge.

OK, so it's not really a piece of chocolate but it's a fix!

    lol....

    Well it's quite simple really.....

your desire to get into the dress has to be stronger than your desire to eat chocolate.....

after the wedding day u can eat all the chocolate in the world...

with all diets you need to have the will power to stick to it - some like Cambridge will work quicker, but they ALL work as long as you stick to them.

it's your choice - you have plenty of time - so every time you're about to eat something from any plan just decide, do I REALLY want it, is it on my plan and will it stop me getting where I wan to be

Good luck - if you really want it - you can get there

Yeah if you're tempted to break your diet just visualise yourself walking down the aisle feeling absolutely amazing in your dress and full of confidence - and you'll know that it will be a million times better than any chocolate bar!

I've been letting myself have chocolate or other treats on days when I know I am going to be doing a decent amount of exercise. I'm playing in a 2 day netball tournament this week so I can go crazy - then again I'll need to, to keep up the energy supplies!
