Finally, thr postman brought the new brochure!! I was looking for the pink envelope, and to confuse me, it arrived in white!!
The new brochure is a portrait design, rather than the landscape layout of the last one, and in length, it's about an inch shorter than the other one, the width is the same. It's 56 pages and weighs in at 175grams, whereas the last one was 260, so cheaper to post.0 -
I've decided that I need to set some goals and spend my time more effectively with Phoenix this year, or I shall have to go and get the dreaded job (!)
I was hoping to have this sorted before the new year started, but life overtook me a little (as it does), so will be sitting down over a diet cola in Burger King tonight for two hours while the kids are at aikido. So I hope to have a goal which you might be kind enough to critique for me, and then encourage/bully me to keep to.
I think I'm going to set monthly targets, for example, I want to learn about door to door, so for the first three months I want to sponsor say two people a month from using the freepost cards (delivering a thousand a month to get around 30 leads to get around 2-3 to sign) - is that too optimistic or about right? Then I will aim to get to my 125 BV each month by door to door drops and see how I like it and how well it works.
Then the next three months I want to try and get my retailing and sponsoring through party-plan and folders with friends etc.
Got to plan the rest of the year. How do people feel about my ideas? I think if I aim for the stars at least I might hit the moon, not the mud!
I also need to plan a set day for support/training group meetings before they are needed. My sponsor is a lovely lady (ET) but is a retailer at heart, so her meetings are oriented that way.
Is anyone else goal-setting? What are your ideas?

sorry to hear that you don't want to be a trader anymore, I am going to see how the first part of the year goes and through the summer as I have not done these months yet, I am not expecting it to be fantastic what with all the money worries everyone is facing, but hopefully it will be ok. May I ask why u are leaving, hope u don't mind.0 -
Hi
I am in the process of doing a list of stock. Basically I have both types of wirestand ( still with boxes), Christmas stock, Birthday cards, gift wrap, tags, stationery sets, cellos, bags, sample folders and probably trader stationery.
Will hopefully get the list done today. If there is anyhting in particulat you would like let me know. Am selling to traders at trader cost rate plus postage unless you can collect. will sort a price for stands.

its just not really what i expected and i personally think the prices are very expensive esp now they have raised them, £4 for 10 invites I think is too much, especially where i live and i know they are quality but really i think price is paramount, i wouldn't pay those prices so why would i expect someone in the same position as me too, I think you have to be able to believe in your goods you are selling at the right prices, though i know it works for some people. Also it's very stressful just getting my stock out to the car as i live on a green with no road or parking spaces the car is parked quite a wayaway so takes me 4 journeys to get it in the car and thats after i have got it all down the stairs kids on toe... then go to a fete or toddler group and manage to get sales of £20 or under it's just not worth my time/effort/stress... so alas i have decided to quit and get a new hobby.
I'm hoping to get a reasonable price for my stock, i have put a reserve on but its a low reserve i think. then I'll be able to pay off my CC. :j0 -
Certainly different to the last catelogue, and now as its a different shape it won't fit in my clear plastic covers that i use when doing a drop-typical!
Anyway, Have had a request for an organiser box from a friend, but noticed there isn't one in this catelogue. I must have misread the newsletter info earlier, i knew the licence was running out on the old design, but i assumed there would be a new design one in the brochure. (particularly as it is a bestseller).
I would gratefully reimburse anyone who has one lingering at home that would willingly brown paper it and post it to me. (could paypal you prior to sending it, if you weigh it at p.office and tell me price including postage etc). If not, then hopefully at some point a supplement may have a new one! If so please pm me.
Happy new year to you all.xxx
I have an organiser box, well lots actually. Not sure how much it would cost to post to you or your customer. Can get it weighed on Monday and let you know.
