Don't get disheartened yet, my brother and his g/f have both graduated this summer - he has got a job in hos field but only on a temporary contract, and his g/f has signed up with several agencies, and after a few weeks wait is doing some data entry work as a stopgap whilst looking for work in her field.
I know it isnt easy, but you will find something if you try enough avenues. May also be worth looking at graduate schemes and emailing companies you would like to work for on spec.
Thanks for that. Yeah signed up to everything i can think of at the moment. Hoping to get into the RAF but it such a long process and theres no security that i will get in.0 -
How would being in the raf fit in with being a new dad? Would you be away a lot or not?0

RAF is ok as long as your married, I live next to a base in the north of Scotland and if you married you'll get quarters, without you'll end up in private rented.
As quarters dont pay Ctax or rent you'll be better off, my friends chap has just done his first deployment in 10 years, so depending what you do you could not have to leave base for a long time!!light bulb moment: 30.08.08!!0 -
You do pay rent and a contribution to council tax in married quarters. It is cheaper though.0
