Resetting wi fi connection help please.

Hi there. I've just received a wii for my birthday and would like to play Mario Kart online via wifi, unfortunately i've forgotten my WEP key which it seems i need. Also can't remember my username and password to access the netgear modem so i can change the WEP key myself. I know they were the default username / password, but i must have cleverly changed them at some point, and not written them down!

Anyway, my question is, if i press the reset button on my modem, what info will i need to reset the connection, and what info will i lose? Is it easy / recommended?

if you reset you will have to start again but its not that hard
i think this is the advise i followed (link below)but always remember to remember passwords etc... i keep a copy of everything of my settings on word on a dongle
