20+ 4 NSDS out of 22 on day 6 and feeling a bit more optimistic now. We're going to my mums for tea and I can't see that we'll spend any money tonight cos we're staying in with a borrowed dvd so I'm calling it now.

Great tip, thanks! My meal planning is by the week so far, cos I buy a lot of fresh fruit and veg.SnowWhite - I've been meal planning for a good few weeks now and I find it saves me no end of money ! Everything is here ready for the meals and it's not often I have to pop out to get something. My last 'shop' was for 3 weeks worth so I might be able to get a month's worth of shopping once i've 'practised' a bit more
.
No spends yet today, but am going out later and will need to pay train fare, grrrr!0 -

I think I will have to start buying veg/fruit again soon, nearly exhausted my garden supplies (been growing our own this year) and due to the weather, a lot of stuff has ruined !  Still got a few runner beans (about 10lb ! lol) in the freezer though so they will keep us going for a little while
.
Have had a NSD here again - 5th one so doing really well :T . Me and DD2 had lunch out today but it was free (her new Guide Hall opening) - stayed to help out for the day and had lunch thrown in too so a nice little bonus
.
Think I may have to go out and buy myself some 'winter' shoes tomorrow though - I got wet feet the last couple of days taking kids to school in my little canvas ones !
