can i ask people what they think of the new sort by facility that the new expiry date has enabled?
i need some honest feedback of how you think its working.
i must be really dumb because i still can't do it, if anyone has time to explain it again i'd be really grateful.
i spoke to velvetglove the other day and did it alright then but now it keeps coming up no matches. i can't seem to get the sorter to sort.
velvetglove, if your looking at this
i'm hollerin again!:D
you don't search, you sort.
bottom left of the page in the drop down box, select sort by thread title and they'll then be grouped together0 -

Unfortunately no
, although you can use google that way apparently (mentioned a bit further back in this thread).
The way to find comps by ending date on here is:
Scroll to the bottom of the forum. There are some drop down boxes (under the heading display options).
Choose:
sorted by - "thread title"
sort order - descending or ascending (what ever is your personal preference)
The threads on the forum are then organised by the ending date stated in the thread title. Navigate your way through the pages until you find the ending date you want. Now that divadee has gone to great lengths to ensure they are all titled correctly, the threads are actually very well organised into groups.
Hope this helps you out a little
Edit to add a screenshot:
read the above pink hope it helps!!0 -

Just being picky .... I would prefer it if the positive "thanks for posting" was written first followed by the "but can you please change the date"...
... how many E:[ )06/09 are we gonna get :rotfl:0 -

Actually, I think you're right. It might sound nicer if the "Thanks for posting" was written first. Some people are just too touchy on here at times.Eleventh Heaven No. 321
