I would like to tell an interesting story, make of it what you will.

I mentioned on this thread about putting some baby clothes on ebay for some extra money, Well that put me in the mood for putting stuff on ebay, I put a listing on, but I had my doubts about it, It was an item I didn't want to sell, and I had that little voice in my head saying "Don't sell it" but I ignored it.

I've been on ebay quite a while and never had any issues, I have good feedback etc, I put this listing on and an hour or so later I get this email.

Ebay removed my listing and have locked my account I can't access my account and have to fax various thing through to ebay in Dublin which is all to much trouble, So I still have the item I didn't want to sell

Then last night, I was getting ready for bed and went to put on Sky news on channel 501, but my hand hit channel 580 The God Channel, now I am the original heathen but I left it on until I got ready for bed, On popped one of them loud American preachers, and he said the following, "Do not worship gold coins, the streets of heaven are paved with gold, you are effectivly worshiping pavement" he went on to preach about being jealous about your neighbours posessions etc, infact he could almost have read my original thread and was responding to it.

I appreciate these two examples where probably just coincidence but still it made me think.

Hi, nirelandguy, I too am from our wee country, and I really do feel for you both after reading your posts. Please try not to feel any more down than you already are. You will find wonderful advice here from such great people, and also to join the credit union will be a very good step as well. We joined many years ago, but I had never heard of them when I was struggling, and so that will be a good thing to do. There are lots of recipes on here too which you both could try to make the food more interesting, and I really do wish you and your family all the very best, and I really do mean that. I know full well what it is like to struggle, as I did so many years ago, when I was on my own with all my children, and it was a real honest to God hardship. I too was feeling like giving up but of course I had to keep going for my children but it was very hard indeed. We are settled now and I have a wonderful husband and we can save and life is good, and it will get better, please believe that it will. Stand by each other talk about all your worries with each other, never you mind about the neighbours, for all you know they have worries of their own. I too watch the God channel and it has lifted me up manys a time, and what was said is right. Please take care of yourself and your other half and the children, and things will get better for you all. You are a decent and good man who is doing his very best for his family. God bless
