Hi.
According to AOL I have a monthly limit of 10 GB.
Can someone explain how I can found out how much I have used?
I love Iplayer , youtube and download songs.
Also -Does anybody know how much one hour of radio streaming is?

Your router / modem will normally have an option to see how much you have used but you will have to reset it each month.
You can download an application called dumeter (www.dumeter.com) which will monitor your usage and provide some detailed info but you do have to pay for it. I think there is a trial version available.
If you use widgets on your desktop, there are often free ones which will monitor your download usage. Have a look here (http://www.widgetgallery.com/index.php?search=network) it's free to download the application - it used to be called konfabulator but yahoo have bought it and im not sure what its called now. There are alternatives available.
As for radio streaming, it depends on the bitrate of the station but even so, it is not going to impact on you and will be a very low number.
Remember that a song is around 3 meg so it will take a whole lot of music before you hit 10Gb. The main thing that will hit you is video. Youtube, however, is not too bad as the video is very compressed.'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'

I don't use AOL but have you checked whether they provide a facility within your account to be able to view your bandwidth usage? I can do this with my ISP.0

There are loads of free programs to do what you want - try to Google for them.
I use one called Down2Home which is good enough for my needs. With most programs (or maybe all of them) you need to remember that if you have more than one computer you must install the program on each one and add the download figures together to get an accurate result. I think they also count in any transfers you do between the computers, so if you do transfer files between the computers you need to be aware that the figures may not be entirely accurate."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0 -

Download Net Meter0

Hi,
Netmeter as advised by Aardvaark is brilliant. Keeps all sorts of totals and projections.
