  • Many thanks for your super fast response.
  • Are you contacting them for a specific reason? Are you disputing an overpayment? Certain areas of TCO deal with different aspects and if you dont write to the correct area on the correct form you will wait ages for a reply if you ever get one at all!

If you give a bit more info I can give you a bit more advice.

If it is basically a dispute you should use the following form http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/tc846.pdf

This shows the exact address to send to - almost the address given by stebiz.

Apologies if I am hijacking the thread, but a related question. I have just received a bill for overpayments a few years ago - previous statements have always said that I need do nothing, but that they will collect it from the following year, yet now I have received a bill. Shortly after, I have received my latest notification, saying that they will reduce the claim to £0 for this year due to an overpayment again last year. Is there a reason why I have suddenly got a bill for the overpayment rather than reclaiming it from existing years (or have they worked out that at this rate it will take them years to get it back as our combined earnings mean we are never going to physically get anything anyway and haven't for years as what miniscule amount we get is taken up by the earlier year overpayment).
